About Mandy

I work with individuals of all ages, with a particular passion for supporting queer individuals, youth (12+), and those navigating eating disorders or complicated relationships with food and body.

My approach is collaborative and client centered, grounded in a trauma-informed lens. As a trained Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), with particular interest in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and somatic awareness practices, I work with clients to find what will best suit their unique and individual needs. I will often invite clients to gently notice sensations in the body as part of understanding emotions and processing experiences, supporting a deeper connection between mind and body in the healing process.

As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am passionate about creating an affirming and inclusive space for individuals and partners navigating identity, sexuality, and relationship dynamics. Mandy welcomes individuals and partners from diverse relationship structures, including queer, heterosexual, and ethically non-monogamous relationships such as polyamory and open relationships. She supports clients in exploring communication, boundaries, attachment, intimacy, and the complexities that can arise in modern relationships.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time in nature with my wife and dog.
