About Audrey

Thank you for being here. I’m Audrey and I offer a warm, compassionate space for people who are navigating challenging life experiences and are looking for meaningful and practical support. With a background in education and community mental health, I bring over a decade of experience supporting individuals across a wide range of ages and life stages. My aim is to create safe, grounded, and empathic spaces where you can feel heard, supported and understood. I am drawn to learning each person’s story and seeing how we can come together to reshape, redefine, and bring new direction to the story you want to make of your story.

I am originally from Ontario, I moved to Kelowna for university and have since embraced mountain life. Living in the scenic land of the Sylix people, I am honored and enjoy spending time outdoors year-round; from skiing and hiking or watching the sunset at Gyro Beach. I also enjoy creating; from drawing to messy clay-based work to unusual macrame projects. I take pride in exploring the expression of making and creating.

My work tends to focus on supporting people as they navigate complex relational and personal experiences. I am particularly interested in family dynamics and relational needs, helping individuals and families make sense of patterns shaped by experiences such as infidelity, betrayal, recovery from abuse, and the process of understanding needs within each unique relationship. I also bring a strong awareness in neurodivergence, informed by both personal experience and my work with youth in school settings. I enjoy getting to know each person’s individual “spice” and exploring ways to honor who they are while navigating systems that may not always support them well. I am committed to affirming queer identities and supporting people in exploring and embracing all aspects of who they are across different stages of identity development. Additionally, I value supporting people through life transitions, whether that involves grief, change, growth, or the unfolding of new phases of life. While these are areas I often find myself working within, I welcome the many different reasons that have brought you here and aim to meet each person with curiosity, care, and openness to the unique needs they bring.

You can expect sessions with me to be curious, safe, collaborative, heartfelt, and at times, playful. I work collaboratively with clients to ensure therapy feels respectful, flexible, and aligned with your goals, needs, and values.

Above all, I am passionate about supporting clients in their work toward understanding themselves more fully and learning how to celebrate who you are. If you’re looking for a counsellor who will meet you with care, clarity, and encouragement, I would be honoured to support you on your journey.
